My Work On This Project

Porting

I contributed to porting the game to all supported platforms.


DLC

I created an internal DLC system which could be linked to any game with relative ease. This was created for KeyWe with future projects in mind however, the creation of DLC packages for all platforms (except Steam), along with seamless integration of the newly created system with the game was my responsibility.


Networking

KeyWe was my introduction to multiplayer online gameplay programming. KeyWe makes use of ExitGames' Photon PUN2. I assisted with the conversion process to ensure that the existing, single-player offline code that KeyWe had worked exactly the same online. This title also makes use of PlayStation cross-generation networking, meaning players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 can play together. All versions of the game (including Windows) support cross-region online gameplay as well.
